Bulk Associations

The Cross-sell and Up-sell are the proven marketing techniques of suggesting 'similar' and 'add-on' product/services respectively to encourage more purchases of those products. The Substitutes are the alternate products that the users may buy in case the product that they are checking out on product details page are not available in sufficient quantities.

Using Bulk Associations, brands can map desired Cross-sell, Up-sell, or Substitute products to the main product in bulk.

To create these mappings navigate to Products > Bulk Tools > Bulk Associations.
Here, you can download the existing mappings at category level in an Excel sheet, update the Cross-sell/Up-sell/substitute products mapping and upload the same.

Navigate to the Products > Bulk Tools > Bulk Associations.

• Select the category for which you want to download/upload the existing Cross sell/upsell/substitutes mapping.
• Select the association type that you want to download.Here, you can select one of the three categories:

• Cross Sell - It refers to the process of suggesting more related products associated with the ones the customer is already seeing. For example: If a customer is looking for a kurti, the suggestions will show leggings, dupatta or other accessories associated with the kurti.
• Up Sell - It refers to the process of giving in more relevant offers, which in turn adds more value to products of the same category as the customer's search preference. For example: If a person is buying an iphone of 32gb, the offer might provide him with a better one (64gb) at an offer price.
• Substitutes - It refers to the process of giving related references or substitute products of the customer's preference. For example: If a customer is looking for a red kurti and he/she taps on one product which they are interested in, the suggestions will show more red coloured kurtis with the same preference. It helps in cases like: the customer doesn't like the picked products and is not satisfied with its design or shade of color.

After this, click on the Download Data Sheet and your association will be available for download in the Bulk Associations Upload/Download Task History..

To add or update new associations you can use the Upload Bulk Associations functionality on Products > Bulk Tools > Bulk Associations screen.
To upload new mappings, choose the Type of Association and Browse the relevant excel sheet.And click on Upload button to upload the mapping.
