Ad-hoc Forms

With the help of Ad-hoc forms, one can create customer enquiry web forms with a number of custom fields of their choice that are suitable for the business.
Features like defining the form code, form action and giving a short message of success in the relevant fields can be accessible from here.
Any kind of form template can be created here using XML. Ad-hoc forms are displayed through the Form Control Drag and Drop control.

To edit or create a new form, you will have to:

  • Login to ACP
  • Navigate to Design and Content
  • Click on Ad-hoc Forms

Here, you will find a list of existing forms. Its creation date, form code (with link) and view log would be visible to you.

To create a new form, click on Add New Form at the bottom right corner of the screen. A new page will appear.

Define Form

It requires the details like Form code and success messages that are supposed to be shown on the ad-hoc forms.

  • Form Code - Type in the required form code of the ad-hoc form.
  • Success Message - Type in the success message that is supposed to be shown when the form is created. It is supposed to be a maximum of 255 characters.

Mail Ids

Fill in the basic mail details in this space. By filling in the addresses, you allow the forms to work according to the given email addresses.

Type in a suitable Subject in the given box as well.

Form Template

You can give in the XML form of the ad-hoc form template.

You can check the sample XML by clicking on Sample XML given at the bottom of your screen.

After adding everything, click on save to save changes, and the form is created.
