Webpages

A web store needs to have many custom pages to display your store information or products. You can add new custom content pages from our Library and customize them, or you can create your own. You can also edit or delete the existing type of pages of your store.

To edit Web pages, you will have to:

• Login to ACP
• Navigate to Design and Content
• Click on Design Web Pages

Here, you will find a list of existing pages with their title, modifying date, layout, and based actions. You can Design, View, or Edit any of these from the options given under Actions. You can check out the layouts of other pages from under the Layouts section. You can select the existing pages from the select option box and delete them in bulk by clicking on Delete in the bottom right corner of the screen.

There are five kinds of different web pages that you can use for your web store. These are given on the top left corner of the screen, mentioned as Page Type.

• Standard Web Pages
• Category Web Pages
• Section Pages
• Conteng Pages
  Custom Content Pages from Page Library
  Custom Content Pages Created by Yourself
• Brand Pages
  We will start with understanding the functionality of all the types of web pages.

Standard Web Pages

These are the default web pages for your store and there is no provision to delete them. Though, you can still edit them and change their layout as per the given options.

The pages that come under Standard Web Pages are as follows:

• Home
• Product Details
• User Registration
• Login
• Show Category
• Search Results
• Brand Page
• Search Summary
• Track your order
• Display Cart
• Search Product Page
• Site Map
• Store Map

Category Pages

These pages are meant to display products of any respective category. They consist of a category menu and a product showcase.

Show Category is considered to be a master category page and whatever changes are made here will reflect in all other category pages that are created after defining the Show Category page.

Section Pages

These are required while creating a Post, Local Deal, Flash Sale Events, and others to display the Post Details, Deal Details and Flash Sale Event Details.

Content Pages

There are basically two types of content pages:

Custom Content Pages added from the library
Custom Content Pages of Content Pages Created By Yourself

Custom Content Pages Added From Library

These are commonly required pages for your web store and they are available in the library. You can add them by just selecting the required pages and customising them.

Some examples of Custom Content Pages from Library are:

• About Us
• Disclaimer
• Return Policy
• FAQ
• Help
• Contact Us
• Privacy Policy
• User Agreement

Custom Content Pages

These are customised according to any occasion or event. These can be created as per your requirement.

Some examples of Custom Content Pages are:

• Fabulous Discounts
• Rakhi Special, and so on.

Brand Pages

The brand pages are used to display the products of respective brands. You can customize them as per your requirement. If you have not created a Brand Page, and a user tries to search it through a url, then that Brand Page will automatically be created based on the Master Brand Page.
