Select Themes

Designing is the most important and basic part of any website. There are many sub parts that come under Design and Content of the ACP. The first and foremost of which is Themes.

Themes define the graphical appearance or look of your Website. Themes are designed to provide consistent look and feel as you move through different pages and sections of your web store. You get hands-on experience in choosing a theme based on colors or branding requirements of the store or the product.

To go to Themes, you will need to:

• Login to ACP
• Navigate to Design and Content
• Click on Select Themes

Here, you can change the Theme of your webpage through the Design and Content module. You will find one available theme under the Available Themes section of the control panel. The theme that is currently being used by your store will be displayed under You Current Theme.

If there are more than one theme in the Available Themes section, you can also use the Search Bar to search the required theme.

How Can You Change The Theme Of The Web-Store?

After opening the Select Themes tab, you can view a sample page created by a particular theme, mouse over the image of that 'theme' or on the View link of it. The sample page will be displayed in a popup.

To apply a suitable theme to your web store, click on Use Theme. You will be asked for confirmation through a dialogue box. Click on Continue and the dialogue box will be closed. The new theme will be applied to your website. You will also be displayed with a success message, and Your Current Theme will be updated. To see how the new theme makes changes to your web store, click on View Live Store.
